The Audi A4 Avant and A5 Sportback receive the Black Limited limited edition in Spain only

In 2019, Audi spent little time between the launch of the A4 and A5, two models that arrived almost hand in hand after a facelift and the introduction of cutting-edge technology in their equipment. Both models stand out for a design that, depending on the trim, can show their sportier side, a side that can now look even more pronounced thanks to the German brand’s latest announcement.

Audi has announced a limited edition aimed specifically at the A4 Avant, the most family-oriented version of its popular saloon, and the A5 Sportback, a model that already radiates sportiness thanks largely to the powerful design of its coupé-style bodywork. Called Black Limited, this limited edition will arrive in Spain with only 100 units for the A5 Sportback and 300 units for the A4 Avant, so if you want one you’ll need to hurry, although for now it has not been revealed how much it will cost in our country.

Both models use the Black Line trim as their base, to which, as you can guess from the name of the special edition, is added a an even greater focus on black. You will find few chrome elements, if any, on the exterior of the A4 Avant Black Limited and A5 Sportback Black Limited, where satin black has been used on numerous components such as the Singleframe grille, all window frames, roof rails, mirror housings, all mouldings and inserts, and even the Audi logos.

Inside the A4 Avant Black Limited and A5 Sportback Black Limited, sportiness is also felt on every side, with features typical of the “S Line” trims, such as the sport seats with integrated headrests and the flat-bottomed sport steering wheel. In addition, for this limited edition the standard equipment is expanded, including items such as:

• Matrix LED headlights with dynamic front and rear indicators
• Full S Line interior trim
• MMI Navigation Plus infotainment system
• Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus
• Dynamic leather and microfibre upholstery
• Sport seats plus with electric adjustment and massage function
• Panoramic sunroof
• Audi Sport 19-inch wheels specific to the A4 Avant and 20-inch for the A5 Sportback
• Keyless entry and start
• Ambient/contour lighting package
• Audi Sound System audio equipment
• Storage package
• Rear view camera (already standard on the A5 Sportback)
• Hold Assist (also already standard on the A5 Sportback)

Mechanically, Audi will allow the A4 Avant Black Limited to be chosen with the diesel engines 35 TDI with 163 CV and 40 TDI Quattro with 204 CV, while if you prefer petrol you will have the 35 TFSI with 150 CV version. Meanwhile, the Audi A5 Sportback Black Limited will also be available with the same diesel engines, although if you prefer petrol the 40 TFSI with 204 CV version is the one available.
