The Audi AudiA4 is reinforced by two new S sport versions: the S4 sports saloon and the version with the S4 Avant estate body. These two new additions to the German brand’s range will be presented during the recently opened Frankfurt Motor Show 2015, where they can be seen in detail and will show all their power and equipment.

To begin with, we are looking at a design that seeks to provide the sporty look that sets it apart from the basic model and adds dynamism to the mix. But it does so discreetly, adding small details that confirm these changes. The Singleframe grille dominates the front, with the air intakes and the slightly accentuated bumper.

On the wing mirrors, there are trim elements that simulate aluminium, and other distinguishing elements are painted in matt grey tones to make their presence stand out. At the rear, the aerodynamic effect is accentuated by a spoiler that makes a difference in this respect. On the rear bumper, there is a honeycomb-shaped grille, together with the diffuser specific to the S models and four exhaust pipes with two intermediate branches.

The cargo capacity of the Audi S4 Avant fulfils its role as a family estate and offers from 505 to 1,510 litres, while the saloon version has a boot of 480 litres. Black is the protagonist of the interior, where comfort typical of an Audi is found, incorporating the improvements seen in other models of the brand.

The engine fitted to these two models is a 3.0-litre TFSI V6 with direct petrol injection and turbocharger supercharging, which delivers 354 CV and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. This engine allows them to reach 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 250 km/h. The Tiptronic eight-speed gearbox helps improve its efficiency.

The Audi S4 achieves a consumption of 7.4 litres per 100 kilometres and emissions of 170 g/km of CO2. The interior equipment is enhanced with the addition of the new multifunction steering wheel, the central console controller and the 8.3-inch monitor. Thanks to the new Audi Connect hardware, it can connect to the internet, and the system allows the mobile phone to connect with the car’s system.
