The Audi SQ7 gains muscle thanks to an aerodynamic kit courtesy of ABT
The Audi SQ7 has been won over by the charms of ABT, who has developed an aerodynamic kit for the German SUV and raises its power to 510 CV.

That the SUV segment should include sporty variants is a reality, if I may put it this way, like the top of a pine tree. Audi dared to take its first steps in this crowded sector with the Q7, a model that has enjoyed strong success across all its generations. However, the house of the four rings had an ace up its sleeve, the SQ7, a sporty variant that stirred passions among those seeking versatility and thrills. Now, ABT has sought to enhance that formula with an aerodynamic kit capable of highlighting every angle of the German SUV.
And the truth is that, with the exception of the recently presented RS Q8 and RS Q3, the rest of Audi’s sporty SUVs have always enjoyed a rather understated styling. But we already know how the Teutonic tuner operates: it has decided to squeeze every last drop of sportiness out of the SQ7 through a series of styling modifications and a substantial upgrade to the mechanical side.
On the outside, the front features a splitter that is somewhat more aggressive, adorning the already characteristic singleframe grille. The side draws strength from 22-inch alloy wheels of a specific design and more aggressive side skirts that complement, to perfection, wider and more pronounced wheel arches.

Nevertheless, the rear is the area into which ABT has invested the most hours. This is reflected in a spoiler and a quad cylindrical exhaust outlet, combined with a sound modulator capable of delivering a much catchier soundtrack. But the true heart of this modification lies in the mechanical side.
As standard, the Audi SQ7 uses a 4.0 TDI V8 engine capable of producing a staggering 435 CV and 900 Nm of torque, but the Teutonic tuner always craves more. ABT’s engineers have carried out a series of modifications to the ECU of the German SUV with the aim of raising these figures to an even more impressive 510 CV and 970 Nm of torque.

Without a doubt, the Audi SQ7 becomes a true powerhouse of sportiness thanks to ABT, which spares no expense when modifying a member of the German brand. For now, the price of this aerodynamic kit and of the performance upgrade itself remains unknown.
