Bentayga Bentley Hybrid Cars SUV
The Bentley Bentayga Hybrid is renewed for 2021 and remains just as luxurious and sustainable
Following the changes introduced to the Bentley Bentayga, it is now the turn of the Hybrid version, which also incorporates certain improvements to its hybrid system

Last summer, Bentley announced the restyle that the Bentayga has undergone, one of the most luxurious and refined SUVs available today, and which now extends these changes to its most sustainable version, the Bentayga Hybrid. As happened with the version featuring a conventional combustion engine, the changes are not particularly profound, but they are necessary to keep it among the elite.
Looking at the exterior of the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid, we can see that it also receives, at the front, a new bumper that also modifies the front grille, which now appears reduced in size, while the Matrix LED light cluster is likewise new. At the rear is perhaps where the changes are best appreciated, with a larger tailgate that also houses the new rear light cluster inspired by that of the Continental GT. It is worth noting that the Bentayga Hybrid will also receive the Black Line trim, which brings several elements and mouldings painted in glossy black.

Apart from all these changes, which are in line with the rest of the Bentayga range, the plug-in hybrid version features other specific ones such as the charging flap, located above the left rear wing. Another change that identifies the Hybrid version is found at the rear, where double oval-shaped trim finishers have been used for the exhausts.
Inside, there are also design changes, such as the new air vents for the climate control system, a steering wheel with a new design, or the new 10.9-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, with connectivity to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Rear-seat occupants will also benefit from greater comfort, as legroom can be increased by between 30 and 100 mm thanks to the new rear seat regulations.

As for the plug-in hybrid system of the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid, under the bonnet we will still find the combination of a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine producing 339 CV together with an electric motor of 125 CV, resulting in a combined hybrid system output of 449 CV and 700 Nm of torque. The difference for the 2021 Bentayga Hybrid lies in the lithium-ion battery, which now increases its capacity by 3.2 kWh to reach 17.3 kWh, so that the maximum electric-only range now rises to 50 kilometres. Once the battery is depleted, Bentley has incorporated a new 7.2 kW charger that now allows a full charge in two and a half hours.
