The BMW Vision Neue Klasse will be on display at the IAA Mobility 2023 in Munich

In the remarkable setting that reflects the constant evolution of the automotive world and takes place only once a year, the Group BMW, with its full electrified range and packed with new products, stands out as the undisputed star at the International Motor Show IAA Mobility 2023, held in Munich for the second time.

Taking advantage of the Munich Show, the Group BMW is preparing to unveil its latest achievement: the BMW Vision Neue Klasse. This vehicle embodies the Group’s development experience across the three essential disciplines of mobility.

The three renowned brands, BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad, come together in this exhibition to present their new range of cutting-edge electrified models. This collection of vehicles reinforces and demonstrates the Group’s forward-looking position in the automotive field. Among the stars of the show, alongside the BMW Vision Neue Klasse, is the BMW i5 fully electric. The MINI brand will dazzle with world premieres such as the new MINI Cooper and the MINI Countryman, both in fully electric versions, while BMW Motorrad brings its innovative vision through the BMW CE 02 eParkourer.

The Group BMW takes a strategic approach to electrification, digitalisation and the circular economy, represented by the diversity of models presented. From plug-in hybrids to fully electric vehicles, the range on display underlines the Group’s versatility and commitment to cleaner, more sustainable mobility. In addition, digitalisation emerges as a crucial element, propelling the driving experience into new technological dimensions.

At the exhibition, the Group BMW presents plug-in hybrid variants of the new BMW 5 Series, showing its commitment to efficiency without sacrificing performance. An exciting surprise materialises with the BMW i7 Protection, a fully electric luxury saloon that redefines safety and sustainability standards in its segment.

MINI moves confidently into the future, showing the world two iconic debuts: the new MINI Cooper and the MINI Countryman, both in their fully electric versions. These vehicles embody the brand’s dynamic essence, now powered by electricity, marking a crucial step in the transition towards sustainable mobility.

The event also highlights the importance of dialogue with the local community and international visitors, with the IAA Mobility Summit and the Group BMW Open Space at the centre of the conversation. From 5 to 10 September, BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad converge at Max-Joseph-Platz, showing not only vehicles but also sharing perspectives on the future of mobility.

BMW bets on hydrogen

The IAA Mobility Summit, under the motto “Experience Connected Mobility“, addresses topics that are currently booming but require continued work and investment, such as hydrogen as an energy source and the development of vehicles with fuel cell propulsion. In this context, the BMW iX5 Hydrogen takes centre stage, highlighting the Group’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.

The transformation towards zero-emission mobility is a common thread running through all the vehicles presented. From the compact BMW iX1 to the luxurious BMW i7 saloon, the Group BMW demonstrates its dedication to a complete range of electric options, adapting to diverse needs and preferences.

Visitors can explore this vision of sustainable mobility in depth at the Open Space at Max-Joseph-Platz, an open space to learn more about the brand’s development and innovation. In addition, the iconic BMW Welt, home of the model ranges of BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce and BMW Motorrad, remains a meeting point for car enthusiasts, who can experience the latest automotive trends up close.
