2CV Citroen Electric Cars Urban
The Citroën 2 CV is partially revealed ahead of its debut on 12 October
The prototype of the electric 2 CV will be presented next 12 October in Paris, but the brand has wanted to reveal some details of the bodywork in advance.

After several decades off the market, the legendary Citroën 2 CV is set to return, and it will do so as an electric car. It will be the next classic model revived by French brands, after the Renault 5 and the Renault 4, and there is great anticipation over how it will ultimately turn out. Many designers have published several images created from the information available and their own ideas.
But we can already see an official image of the revived model, so we can start getting an idea of what we are going to see. It is a set of photographs that preview the look and the image of the Citroën 2 CV. The Paris Motor Show will be the showcase for the model, but it will arrive in the form of a prototype. The production model is expected to arrive during 2028.

These images, as you can see, show a fluted bonnet and semicircular LED headlights that protrude from the bulging wings. The door handles and the wheels have a retro style, joined by the indicators on the C-pillar. As we already know, the exterior will have a look very similar to the classic car and its front will feature the illuminated double chevron.

TEASER DEL CITROËN 2 CV
The new Citroën 2 CV will bring into the 21st century the legendary car that was a sales success across Europe, converting it to electric mobility, and it is expected to have an even smaller environmental footprint than the compact crossover Citroën C3. It will replace the C1 and C2 models, which are no longer manufactured.
As for the technical specifications of the prototype, the French brand has not offered details on the subject. It is expected to use a dedicated platform, which will also be used in other affordable electric models. In addition, its cost once production begins is expected to be 15,000 euros. At this price, it will be the cheapest electric vehicle in the brand’s range, since the AMI is considered a quadricycle.
