The Dacia Jogger will become the newest member of the Romanian brand’s family and will be unveiled on 3 September.

Dacia is getting a new family member. It will be called Dacia Jogger and will be unveiled on 3 September at the upcoming Munich Motor Show. This new car from the brand will be available with five or seven seats. Notably, this new MPV will replace the Dacia Lodgy and, according to the Group Renault brand itself, the Dacia Jogger “comes with the intention of evoking sport, nature and positive energy”.

The name Jogger, as the manufacturer has pointed out, is modern, simple and easy to pronounce. The name also “embodies dynamism, positive energy and the outdoor spirit, without forgetting robustness”. It is important to note that Dacia has described its new MPV as “a versatile family car”.

Everything we know about the new Dacia Jogger

Like the Dacia Duster and the Dacia Bigster, the new car also has a name ending in -er. A marketing strategy? Will it be related to the Dacia Bigster concept we saw a few months ago? Besides this new adventurous MPV, the Group Renault brand will launch the new generations of the Dacia Sandero and the Dacia Logan, and we must not forget the long-awaited Dacia Spring.

For now, it is unknown whether the Dacia Jogger will be built on the platform called CMF-B of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. What is known for certain is that this new model will be available with TCe petrol engines, hybrid engines and with ECO-G blocks featuring bi-fuel technology to run on LPG.

The Romanian brand has been building up the excitement and has published a teaser video that gives us a glimpse of some of the characteristic lines of this family MPV. We know it will be based on the new Dacia design language and that it will be unveiled digitally on 3 September. However, we will have to wait until 6 September to see it in person.
