The Ferrari FXX K is completing its final track tests before its official unveiling

The Ferrari FXX K is about to go through all the necessary procedures before being presented to the general public, and everyone is eager to see it in action at one of the events where it will be the special guest. The presentation will take place at the Ferrari Racing Days in Budapest at the end of the month, and also at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the United Kingdom, as you may already have seen in the article we dedicated to this event.
But before that happens, it spent a few days at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, where it underwent one last test in the hands of the brand’s official drivers. After these final tests, the car will be ready to pass into the hands of customers, who will test it for two years. This programme will allow a select group of customers to drive the car over this period, so that they can gain real experience behind the wheel of this spectacular model.
The Ferrari FXX K is not a car homologated to take part in any of the demanding races it could enter, since Ferrari wanted to build a car that delivers its full potential on track without the limitations it would otherwise have to face. The engine, for example, is a V12 unit producing 860 CV, combined with an electric motor that adds 190 CV more. Maximum torque is 900 Nm.

The Ferrari FXX K is equipped with a HY-KERS system developed to achieve the highest possible performance on track. The Manettino offers four driving modes. The Qualify mode delivers maximum performance over a limited number of laps, while the Long-Run mode optimises performance over longer races, the Manual Boost provides maximum torque, and the Fast Charge mode offers rapid battery charging.
Aerodynamic downforce is also a strong point of this model, preventing air resistance from compromising its performance. Only 32 units will be built, and they are already sold despite their price, which is slightly above 2.5 million euros. Furthermore, each of these units, although sold, will remain in the custody of the company.
