The Fiat 500 and 500X welcome the Dolcevita special edition in Spain

The Dolce vita is something we have all heard about at some point, a period of time that, although short, managed to make Rome the capital of this movement in which numerous trends emerged thanks to the many famous figures who passed through there, wanting to live the most carefree, luxurious and fun side of life. Since then, this term has been used for various purposes that represent these characteristics, such as Fiat with its Dolcevita special edition for the 500 and 500X.

Announced a few months ago, Fiat offers us a special edition called Dolcevita for its 500 and 500X in their respective convertible versions, with aesthetic details that aim to evoke this luxurious era that Italy experienced with Rome as its standard-bearer. In this way, two models are presented to us with a modern yet luxurious attitude, with unique aesthetic details supported by the hybrid engines that we will find in this special edition.

Fiat 500X Dolcevita

Fiat has chosen the Gelato White colour for the bodywork of the 500X Dolcevita, combined with the ivory-coloured soft top that can be opened automatically at the touch of a button from the inside. These will not be the only details on its exterior, as the contrasting note for these colours is provided by the chrome and satin finishes on the front grille, the fog light surrounds and the mirror housings, rounding off the exterior styling with 18-inch alloy wheels in grey finish and the “Dolcevita” logo.

In the interior of the Fiat 500X Dolcevita, a soft upholstery has been chosen for the seats, with electric adjustment for the driver, in an ivory finish with piping and the “500” logo in white. The dashboard trim is now white, while the gear lever knob includes chrome elements. In terms of standard equipment, it includes the Uconnect infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen with navigation, DAB digital radio and connectivity via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, as well as a rear-view camera and both light and rain sensors.

Mechanically, the Fiat 500X Dolcevita is available with the FireFly petrol engine, a four-cylinder 1,500 cc unit capable of producing 130 CV together with a torque of 240 Nm, as well as a 48 V electric motor housed in the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, thus improving efficiency and earning the ECO label. The price of the Fiat 500X Dolcevita in Spain is 37,200 euros.

Like its sibling, the Fiat 500 Dolcevita will be available with Gelato White paint for the bodywork, combined with a beige-coloured soft top, while the contrasting note is provided by the chrome present on the mirror housings, together with the wheels, which in this case are 16-inch, finished in black diamond-cut and with the “Dolcevita” logo.

The interior of the Fiat 500 Dolcevita becomes even more elegant for this special edition, with seats that use ivory-coloured upholstery with Frau leather inserts, as well as the “500” logos in white finish. The dashboard receives wood inserts, while the gear lever includes leather, specific floor mats with white edging and rear seats split in a 50/50 configuration. Standard equipment also includes the Uconnect infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen and navigation.

Mechanically, the Fiat 500 Dolcevita will be available with the Firefly Hybrid petrol engine, a three-cylinder 1,000 cc unit capable of delivering 70 CV of power, combined with a 12 V BSG motor and a lithium-ion battery to achieve mild hybridisation, which improves its efficiency and allows it to carry the ECO label. The price of the Fiat 500 Dolcevita in Spain starts from 13,984 euros.
