The FIAT Tipo (RED) is now available in Spain and its price has been announced

As you already know and we have mentioned on previous occasions, FIAT is deeply involved in the (RED) initiative, a charitable project in which numerous companies collaborate by offering special editions of the products they sell, so that the sales of those products raise money to fund the fight against diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis or AIDS.

The Stellantis group actively collaborates with the (RED) initiative through FIAT vehicles, with special editions such as the 500e (RED) you have already seen, which is now joined by the Tipo (RED) and the Panda (RED), which were presented at the beginning of this year. The first of these is now a reality and goes on sale in our country, where we already know its price.

As a reminder, the Fiat Tipo (RED) will be available in both the Hatchback body and the Cross Station Wagon estate body, both sharing distinguishing elements as the hallmark of this special edition. The main colour for its bodywork honours the name of this special edition, Rosso Passione, but it will also be available in Grigio Colosseo, Bianco Gelato and Nero Cinema should you prefer them.

It will not be the only distinguishing feature on the exterior, as the mirror housings will be painted in the same colour as the bodywork, while the front grille will be painted black for greater differentiation, accompanied by other elements painted in Ice Matte to create contrast, such as the roof bars, underbody protectors, fog light surrounds and door handles. The final touch comes from the 17-inch wheels with diamond-cut finish painted in matt black, the Full-LED headlights and the (RED) logos that identify this edition.

The interior of the FIAT Tipo (RED) features black fabric upholstery with red stitching and an embroidered FIAT logo. It is distinctive in being made with Seaqual Yarn technology, which uses a fully sustainable polyester thread made of 10% recycled marine plastic and the remaining 90% recycled from other sources. The floor mats are also dedicated to the special (RED) edition and feature the same colour combination as the seats.

Mechanically, the FIAT Tipo (RED) will be available with the 1,000 cc petrol engine producing 100 CV and a torque of 190 Nm. If you prefer diesel, it will also be available in its most powerful option, powered by the 1,600 cc Mjet engine producing 130 CV and a torque of 320 Nm.

FIAT has started selling the Tipo (RED) in Spain at a price of 199 euros/month, which includes three years of warranty and three years of maintenance.
