The finalists for "European Car of the Year 2010" are already known

The organisers of “European Car of the Year 2010” have announced the finalists competing to receive the award. Initially there were 33 candidates and after a small pre-selection only seven finalists remain.
The jurors take all aspects of the vehicle into account when awarding this prize, from the applied innovation to the finish, prices, ecology, handling and safety. Last year’s “Car of the Year in Europe” was the Opel Insignia.
The seven finalists are:
- Citroën C3 Picasso
- Mercedes-Benz E-Class
- Opel Astra
- Peugeot 3008
- Skoda Yeti
- Toyota iQ
- Volkswagen Polo
Now the finalist models will pass into the hands of the jurors, who are journalists from various European publications, and on 30 November we will finally learn the final decision and discover the “European Car of the Year 2010”.
