The first units of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will arrive in our market in March
The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is here, combining 302 CV, a 22.7 kWh battery and a consumption of just 0.8 l/100 km to take on the plug-in hybrid SUV segment head-on
Mitsubishi Motors began production of the highly anticipated Outlander PHEV on December 13 at its prestigious Okazaki plant in Japan, after the Japanese brand announced it in spring 2023. Besides being the flagship model, this model was a pioneer in combining the PHEV format in the SUV category. This model has been designed specifically for the European market and enters the highly competitive plug-in hybrid SUV segment head-on.
The Okazaki plant has been equipped with the latest manufacturing technology to ensure that every Outlander PHEV unit meets the highest standards of the company and the automotive industry. The first Outlander PHEV units are already on their way to Europe, and they are expected to reach dealerships in March of this year.

The SUV that revolutionised the PHEV concept
The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is no ordinary model. This plug-in hybrid SUV was a pioneer in combining the PHEV format with the versatility of an off-roader, and now it returns with greater strength and a PHEV powertrain that will surely meet the expectations of an increasingly demanding European customer.
Among the details of this update, the intelligent S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) system stands out, which provides exceptional traction on any type of terrain and, together with its plug-in hybrid propulsion, not only guarantees efficiency and power, but also an exciting and safe driving experience.

High-end interior
Its interior stands out for incorporating a fully digital instrument cluster with a 12.3-inch colour TFT screen, which allows full customisation to suit the driver’s preferences. As for the infotainment system, the model offers a 12.3-inch central screen called Smartphone Link Display. This advanced system includes optimised navigation thanks to TomTom and access to real-time traffic information through the Google Places API. In addition, it is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, providing effortless connectivity and an intuitive experience.
For premium sound lovers, Mitsubishi offers two audio system options developed in collaboration with Yamaha: the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium, with eight speakers, and the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Ultimate, which includes twelve speakers and a subwoofer for a superior acoustic experience.

Motor PHEV of Mitsubishi
Under the bonnet, the new Outlander presents itself as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) that combines a four-cylinder petrol engine, 2,360 cc, and 16 valves with two electric motors located on each axle. This system delivers a total power of 302 CV and a torque of 400 Nm, ensuring robust and agile performance in any situation.
The mechanical assembly works together with a 22.7 kWh battery, which offers an electric range of 86 kilometres on the combined cycle, allowing it to reach up to 130 km/h without needing the combustion engine. The total combined range extends up to 844 kilometres, with an impressive fuel consumption of 0.8 litres/100 km and CO₂ emissions of just 19 g/km, positioning it as an efficient and environmentally friendly option.

Mitsubishi expands its electrified range
This launch marks the start of a strategic year for Mitsubishi, which plans to expand its product range with two new vehicles in the SUV-C segment. Among them are a model with mild hybrid (MHEV) and full hybrid (HEV) powertrain options, as well as a fully electric vehicle (BEV).
