The future Lamborghini Aventador SV Jota keeps being spotted on social media, and it is impressive

A camouflaged prototype of the Lamborghini Aventador has been driving around the streets for months, and everything points to it being the SV Jota, the most radical version.

Lamborghini doesn’t want to let the opportunity pass to get the most out of the Aventador before unveiling its future successor, and this is demonstrated with a camouflaged prototype that has been driving around for months. Everything points to this being an even more radical variant of the Italian supercar, based on the SV and taking on the Jota name in honour of its ancestors. However, it’s not just the name that changes on the most fearsome bull, but also its styling and, of course, its aerodynamics.

The last edition of the Geneva Motor Show promised a lot for Lamborghini and, although we expected this new supercar to make an appearance, the Italian firm focused all its attention on the Huracán Performante Spyder. The brand has preferred to keep this ace up its sleeve and will surely use it at the next Frankfurt or Paris show, and in the meantime we can enjoy the images that constantly flood the internet.

The most striking thing about this future Aventador Jota is its styling, which is already imposing on the more “modest” versions of the Italian supercar, and although it is hidden under camouflage, we have been able to make out certain parts and components exclusive to this version of the most fearsome bull. As we said, we can see a great aerodynamic effort from the Italian firm, which is reflected in the powerful rear wing that dominates the tail and the aggressive diffuser hidden under the bumper.

At the same time, the exhaust system has been redesigned, and we can see how this new Aventador variant gives up the well-known hexagonal exit and adopts two cylindrical ones inspired by the Huracán Performante. The front is where the fewest changes have been made, apart from the splitter, which has a new shape designed to cut through the wind more efficiently and keep the most radical bull planted to the ground.

The mechanical side remains a mystery to us, but the charismatic naturally aspirated V12 will continue to be the one bringing the most powerful Aventador to life. The SV delivered 750 CV, and this time we could be talking about a figure above 800 CV. However, the question that torments us all is whether this variant of the fiercest bull will offer a dual-clutch automatic gearbox, something we expected with the launch of the Aventador S.

For now we will have to wait, but Lamborghini promises to give its most cherished vehicle a grand farewell, since we assume the SV Jota will be the last version to carry the Aventador name.
