The Honda Fit/Jazz EV is one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles, at least in the USA
The Honda Fit/Jazz EV has been rated by the US EPA as the model that consumes the least fuel in the entire history of the agency’s measurements.

The US Environmental Protection Agency has rated the Honda Fit EV at 118 miles per gallon, which, converted to our fuel consumption measurements, would equal 1.99 km/L, making it the least fuel-consuming vehicle ever measured in the USA.
The Honda Fit EV has managed to outperform the competition thanks to the capabilities of its 20-kWh lithium-ion battery. With a combined city/highway range estimated at 132 kilometers, the Fit EV surpasses the efficiency and EPA range ratings of the Ford Focus Electric (2.24 km/L, 121.6 km of range), the Nissan Leaf (2.38 km/L, 116.8 km of range) and the Mitsubishi i-MiEV (2.1 km/L, 99.2 km of range).
The 92-kilowatt (123 CV) coaxial electric motor of the Fit EV is paired with a fully independent suspension chassis and a three-mode electric acceleration system selectable by the driver, adapted from the CR-Z Sport Hybrid.
Honda presented the 2013 Fit EV at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show and announced its plans to begin offering it on a leasing basis to customers in selected markets in California and Oregon in the summer of 2012, to be followed by its launch on the US East Coast in 2013. In Spain, for the time being, we must make do with the hybrid version of the Jazz, the model equivalent to the American Fit.
