The imposing Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO arrives with carbon fibre upgrades and adjustable dynamic elements

The Italian manufacturer has unveiled its new representative for the Blancpain GT Series, a one-make racing championship organised by the company itself from Sant’Agata Bolognese. The new Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO becomes the most radical version of the model, above the Huracán Performante. It was presented by Squadra Corse, the motorsport department of the Italian firm, at an event where it was offered to owners of its predecessor, the Huracán Super Trofeo.

The design of this model was handled by the Italian firm with the collaboration of its sponsor Roger Dubuis, as well as Dallara Engineering. Among the most prominent visual elements of this model is the central fin located on the rear bonnet, an element very similar to that of the Lamborghini Veneno.

The racing version of the Lamborghini Huracán does not offer a dramatic performance improvement over the standard model. Its 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 has been modified to deliver an increase of 10 CV (620 CV in total); a figure lower than that of the Huracán Performante (639 CV). The Super Trofeo EVO uses a rear-wheel drive system and a sequential gearbox inherited from competition.

As with the Huracán Performante, the Super Trofeo EVO features active aerodynamics culminating in a large adjustable rear wing.

The Italian supercar has a price of 235,000 euros in Europe and Asia. The first units will hit the market in the competition that bears the name of the model itself: Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
