The Infiniti QX30 Production Model Revealed in New Images
At the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show we were finally able to see the production version of the QX30, which will soon be built at the Sunderland plant and will reach international markets within a few months, with many similarities to the already known Q30

After seeing the Infiniti QX30 concept model, the time has come to see the production version of this model. It was presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which has just opened and has allowed us to take a closer look at the changes made to this model ahead of its launch. This car is based on the compact Infiniti Q30, so it shares many elements with that other version of the model. Both, moreover, share features with the Mercedes Class A, so one might think it is an Asian version of the Mercedes GLA, thanks to the agreement between Renault-Nissan and Mercedes-Benz.
It is available with front-wheel drive, something it shares with the other models, although it will also be offered with all-wheel drive. Distinguishing details include elements such as the plastic protections on the lower part of the bodywork, which include the wheel arches. A chrome strip has also been added beneath the front and rear bumpers.

The interior features are similar to those found in the Q30, with the same Premium finishes offered on that model. Moving on to the mechanicals you will find in the Infiniti QX30, although it is not entirely clear yet. We know, for example, that one of the options will be a 2.0-litre engine with 208 CV.
This version is slightly taller than the base model, with a slightly higher suspension. Even so, the differences between the Q30 and the QX30 are minimal. In fact, the differences between one version and the other are minimal, and apart from the capabilities for tackling terrain a bit more demanding than the road, it has no major changes.
We have also learned where this model will be built, as it will be produced at Infiniti’s plant in Sunderland, in the United Kingdom.
