The year 2022 has arrived and manufacturers want to face it with optimism and the desire to enjoy a good stretch. Many models are being renewed to offer more equipment to users. In this article we are going to focus on the Invicta Electrid D2S, one of the most affordable urban electric models on the Spanish market.

One of the main elements replaced in this update is the information and entertainment system. The screen keeps the 9-inch size it currently has, but the image quality has improved substantially. The interface is more intuitive and the operating system that runs the system is more efficient and faster.

The infotainment system is based on Android and is compatible with devices of this type. It can also be linked to an iPhone or any other device running iOS thanks to Mirror Link. It also includes Bluetooth, a browser, Aux and USB connections, a video player, a calculator and a shortcut button to the Google Chrome search engine, among other functions.

To the left of the screen several buttons have been installed that allow access to the main menu, to go back, to raise or lower the volume and to switch the device on or off. The interior still features faux leather upholstery in different colours that the user can choose. It also has other safety elements such as parking sensors, a rear-view camera, push-button start, sports seats, air conditioning and ABS.

The Invicta Electric D2S comes with two battery packs. The first offers a capacity of 17 kWh and can be charged from a domestic socket in six hours. The 27 kWh version can be charged in eight hours. The range of the first version is 150 kilometres on the NEDC cycle, and 250 kilometres, also on the NEDC cycle, for the 27 kWh version. In terms of speed, it has an electronic limit of 105 km/h.

It uses front-wheel drive, independent suspension on both axles and disc brakes on all four wheels. It is available in 18 European countries and in Spain it has a price of 8,995 euros for the 17 kWh battery version and 12,995 euros for the 27 kWh one. In this case, the brand’s discounts, the Plan Moves III and the scrappage discount for an old vehicle are included.
