The Jeep Compass 4xe arrives in the European market to complement the model's range
The Jeep Compass 4xe has arrived in the European market, the electric version that also comes in two versions, one of which offers more than 670 kilometres of range.

The Jeep Compass 4xe arrives in the European market in two versions, which complement the model’s offering so that drivers can find the variant they need. This off-road model was designed in Turin and manufactured at the Melfi plant in Italy, so it has been equipped with many features that make it an ideal vehicle for the European market.
In its top-of-the-range version it features an electric drivetrain that delivers 375 CV and all-wheel drive. It has two motors, one on each axle, providing thrust on both and improving traction. The front-axle motor delivers 157 kW, while the motor located on the rear axle produces 132 kW.

This second motor, which drives the rear axle, has been designed specifically for the Jeep Compass 4xe and offers the highest output of any motor mounted on the STLA Medium platform. They are powered by energy stored in a battery with a capacity of 96.1 kWh, which provides a range of just over 600 kilometres under the WLTP cycle. Charging with a fast charger allows the battery to go from 20 to 80% in just 27 minutes.

Jeep Compass Long Range, more range
The Long Range variant offers increased range, reaching 674 kilometres. This is possible thanks to a high-performance battery with 12 modules and 192 cells, with a capacity of 96.3 kWh. Despite its differences from the standard variant’s battery, charging time is identical, thanks to more efficient high-voltage charging characteristics, such as predictive preconditioning.
In this case, it does not have all-wheel drive; instead it uses only the front motor. That said, a different calibration increases the output to 170 kW, equivalent to 231 CV.
An off-roader worth considering
The off-road features are worth noting. The suspension is 10 mm higher, which provides greater ground clearance, and it has an approach angle of 28º, a breakover angle of 17º and a departure angle of 31º, with a wading depth of up to 480 mm.
In the dual-motor version it delivers a maximum torque of 3,100 Nm at the rear wheels, thanks to the coupling of the rear motor to a 14:1 reduction gear. Thanks to this, it can tackle gradients of up to 20% without using front-wheel drive. To protect the front end, the modular bumper is made of moulded black material to preserve the body paint, which enhances the model’s visual impact.
The ADAS technology makes driving easy and safe, and also offers several driving modes to suit different situations. The equipment also varies depending on the trim level, so each driver can choose the trim they need or want.
