The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is the fastest yet
Koenigsegg’s next hypercar, the Jesko Absolut, will be the fastest car the manufacturer has built to date.
The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut will become the fastest hypercar ever built by the Swedish manufacturer. Given the level of performance, and how incredible its other models are, this news is nothing short of astonishing.
A hypercar with radical performance
The new Jesko Absolut was due to be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show; however, given the cancellation of the latter, the reveal has instead taken place through the brand’s own social media channels.

The company claims that this new hypercar will become the fastest car ever built by the firm. This is impressive, considering that its models are currently among the fastest and most radical on the planet.
As we can see in the photos, the Jesko Absolut has an aggressive and very sporty look. Unlike the “standard” version of the model, the Absolut features a very distinctive rear wing and will be somewhat lighter than the base Jesko.

This novel wing provides no less than 1,400 kilos of downforce from its aerodynamics, including 800 kilos at 250 km/h and 1,000 kilos at 275 km/h, which will improve its dynamism at very high speeds.
In the manufacturer’s own words, this will also allow speeds far higher than any Koenigsegg to date. The brand has not released details of its top speed, saying it is “yet to be seen”. Undoubtedly a good way to keep anticipation for the model high.

As for power, the hypercar will feature a 5.0-litre V8 engine producing 1,600 CV and an astonishing 1,500 Nm of torque. This will allow it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds. It will also feature an instantaneous and responsive 9-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox.
No price has been revealed, but given this level of performance and capability, it will clearly not be cheap, especially considering this is a more exclusive and faster edition than the “base” Jesko.
