The Lexus RC300h 2018 arrives: more connectivity and equipment
Lexus launches in Spain the 2018 version of its hybrid coupé, the RC, adding more equipment to the range of one of the most distinctive coupés on the market.

Lexus’s current range is made up of numerous saloons and SUVs, although for those looking for something more special, there is also a beautiful coupé.
This is the RC, which, taking advantage of the new year, updates its equipment to give rise to the 2018 variant, more attractive than ever.
The RC (Racing Coupé) from Lexus reached the market in 2014 with the aim of offering a different alternative, with added value and originality in the mid-size premium coupé segment, competing with models such as the BMW 4 Series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé or the Audi A5.
Based on the Lexus GS, the Japanese manufacturer created a four-seat coupé of generous dimensions, with a very attractive and distinctive design that has managed to win over the general public. Lexus’s values are still very present in this RC, with extensive equipment, technology everywhere and exquisite finish quality.
Now, in 2018, the Japanese firm has decided to launch the 2018 version which, despite having no aesthetic changes, improves the model’s appeal thanks to more complete and capable equipment. On the exterior there are no changes apart from the arrival of a new body colour, Naples Yellow, which is also available on the LC.
Inside, the most important changes are found in the infotainment system, which debuts more powerful software, a new 10.3″ high-resolution screen and a new, more complete control touchpad.

Technically there are several changes, as some chassis elements have been revised to improve dynamics and insulation. In addition, a 5th driving mode called “Custom” has been added, allowing the driver to personalise the vehicle’s behaviour. Furthermore, Lexus adds, from the intermediate Executive trim, the Lexus Safety System+ advanced safety system as standard.
Its hybrid powertrain is now cleaner than ever, capable of exceeding the Euro 6d anti-pollution standard while maintaining its 223 CV and an average consumption of 4.9 litres. As a hybrid vehicle, the DGT classifies it with the ECO sticker, with all the advantages that entails. Its price, from 46,400€.
