The McLaren 620R unleashes all its fury with MSO's new "Pack R"
McLaren presents the new Pack R, which will be available for the new 620R and with which it will now be even more spectacular thanks to MSO

At the end of last year McLaren presented us with the 620R, a very special model that came to pay tribute to the countless victories the 570S GT4 has achieved in competition since its arrival in 2017, all under a strict limited edition of just 225 units worldwide. Its price, as is usually the case in these situations, is only suitable for a few wallets.
But this has not been an obstacle for the McLaren 620R, and it is a vehicle directly based on the 570 S GT4, so we have at our disposal competition technology that we can use whenever we like on any circuit, while when we want to take it for a drive on open roads we can do so without any restriction, as it has the necessary homologations for it.

The McLaren 620R already has a high level of aerodynamic elements and carbon fibre throughout its bodywork and interior, but McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has wanted to unleash all its fury with the so-called Pack R, which serves to increase its level of sportiness. On the exterior, the most visual part added by the Pack R is the enormous air intake located above the roof, made of carbon fibre and painted in a glossy finish, inspired by the one also used on the McLaren F1 Longtail. Additionally, a camera can be included that works in conjunction with the McLaren Track telemetry system, thus enhancing the track experience with the 620R.
This will not be the only change visible on the exterior of the McLaren 620R. At the front we see that new gills on the front fender have also been added in a glossy finish, which, besides fulfilling their respective aerodynamic function, will also bring an undeniable aesthetic improvement. Moving to the interior, we see that the opportunity has been taken to increase the use of carbon fibre, adding more elements to the dashboard and centre console, the central tunnel, the steering wheel and the seat shells, which are combined with Alcantara leather.

Mechanical modifications have also been made, although we must bear in mind that its engine will remain the V8 of 3,800 cc, which delivers a power output of 620 CV together with a torque of 620 Nm, paired with a seven-speed automatic gearbox Seamless Shift Gearbox (SSG). What has been done is the installation of a new MSO-manufactured titanium exhaust line, which yields 5 dB more sound compared to other exhaust options in the Sports series, so the music emitted by this V8 will be a real treat for the ears.
The MSO Pack R will only be available for Europe, the Middle East and Europe, and will cost approximately 27,000 euros on top of the base price of the McLaren 620R, bringing the final amount above 320,000 euros.
