The Mercedes-Benz EQA is already priced in Spain

The Mercedes-Benz EQA, the electric compact SUV from the German brand, is already priced in Spain, where it is available from 49,900 euros.

Mercedes-Benz continues to expand its EQ family, which has now begun to cover the compact segment. It was almost a month ago that the star brand announced the arrival of the Mercedes-Benz EQA, the electric compact SUV that uses the GLA as its base and that aims to change everything. With this premise, the brand has now made the new EQA available in Spain, and we already know its starting price in our market.

This is one of the biggest mysteries of any electric car: the price. This is no surprise, considering that, for now, it is a form of mobility with an expensive entry point, although brands such as Mercedes-Benz aim to bring it to more customers and thus reach more sales with their EQ family.

We must not forget that the new Mercedes-Benz EQA arrives to introduce a new generation of electric vehicles, one that will be followed by the future EQB. In this way, the star brand gives us a preview of an electric future in which every segment will take part, to which we must add the plug-in hybrid powertrains that many of its models already offer.

With all this, the first units will arrive at dealerships in April. They will come with a launch package that includes heated seats, Thermotronic and the Electric Art Line trim as standard. All of this will be available with the 250 version of the EQA, the only one available for now, although AMG promises sportier variants of the Mercedes electric models.

Behind this numbering lies an electric motor capable of delivering 190 CV of power and 375 Nm of torque. Thanks to these figures, the Mercedes-Benz EQA offers a 0 to 100 time of 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 160 km/h. Add to that a 60 kWh lithium-ion battery that provides a range of 424 kilometres under the WLTP homologation cycle.

In this way, the electric compact SUV from Mercedes-Benz arrives in Spain with a starting price of 49,900 euros. This figure will be reduced by brand discounts and various state incentives applicable to electric cars, thus considerably lowering the final outlay that the star brand asks for what will become the first of many electric compacts.
