The most outrageous Suzuki Jimny yet, thanks to the cosmetic kit from Wald International

The new Suzuki Jimny has been worked on by Wald International to receive a cosmetic kit, which brings out a more aggressive character

Wise indeed was the one who said we should leave the past behind and focus on the present and the immediate future, but looking back every now and then helps us remember one of the most anticipated models of 2018, the new Suzuki Jimny. The small Japanese off-roader has won over our petrolhead hearts with its classic design and off-road capability that is unusual for today’s vehicles. However, certain companies have wanted to go further with the Jimny, such as Wald International, which has developed a new cosmetic kit that enhances the features of this appealing 4×4.

A few months ago we had the chance to get behind the wheel of the new Suzuki Jimny to get to know its virtues in detail once the asphalt disappears, but now the Japanese tuner has wanted to apply what it calls the Black Bison Edition to the adventurous off-roader to take it one step further. It is true that the changes this tuner offers only affect the aesthetics but, without a doubt, they make the new Jimny look much tougher and more imposing on the road.

At first glance, we find a much more prominent front end, where every additional element that would let you distinguish it as a Suzuki has been removed to make room for a vertical, clean grille. We should also highlight an imposing air intake, which sits on the bonnet with the aim of providing greater cooling for the heart of the Japanese off-roader.

The front bumper has also received certain improvements, where a new, more rounded design gives way to red and grey details that contrast perfectly with the black tone we can see on certain points of the Jimny’s bodywork. The roof has been dressed up with LED lights and a spoiler at its rear end that aims to contribute to the tone of that more aggressive and sporty character hidden within the Suzuki Jimny.

We should also note wider, more pronounced wheel arches, which will allow onlookers to feel greater respect for the off-roader of the Suzuki. As we have mentioned, the mechanics have been respected at all times, so we will continue to find the same naturally aspirated 1.5 four-cylinder engine capable of producing 102 CV of power and 130 Nm of torque.

With this premise, we can enjoy a much more aggressive look for the Suzuki Jimmy, a vehicle that remains faithful to its principles but with certain touches that alter its spirit. For now we do not know how much it will cost to access this preparation but, without a doubt, it is presented as an essential addition for those customers who miss a more eye-catching look on the new Jimmy.
