The new BMW iX3 50 xDrive now has a price and availability on the Spanish market

As the brand itself says, BMW begins a new era in electric mobility with the first model to reach production using the Neue Klasse platform. This is the new iX3, a fully electric SUV which, as you may remember, was unveiled last September and began production a month later at the Hungarian plant in Debrecen. It is now also available in Spain, where it already has a price.

Here in our country, we will find it for now in what was announced as its top-of-the-range version, the iX3 50 xDrive. For this version, BMW fits the iX3 with two electric motors, one on the front axle and another on the rear, to send power to all four wheels through the intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive system. These motors together develop a combined output of 345 kW (469 CV) and a maximum torque of 645 Nm, allowing it to reach 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and a limited top speed of 210 km/h.

The new BMW iX3 50 xDrive features an 800 V electrical architecture and a Gen6 battery with cylindrical cells, which allows ultra-rapid charging of up to 400 kW. In this regard, it should be noted that this version with this configuration is certified under the WLTP cycle for a range of up to 805 km, so that, together with the aforementioned features, more than 350 km of range can be recovered in around 10 minutes at a DC fast charging station.

The BMW iX3 50 xDrive will be sold in Spain in three trim levels already familiar across the rest of the German brand’s range, starting with the one called base or “standard”, which includes equipment such as the following:

The next trim level is called M Sport and adds a sportier touch to the iX3, adding to all of the above features such as the following:

• 20-inch M wheels with double-spoke design
• M aerodynamic package with body-coloured parts and diffuser
• M Sport brakes with blue-painted calipers
• Sport steering wheel
• M-specific footrests
• Interior upholstery combining Veganza dark and M PerformTex

Finally, there is the M Sport Pro trim, which, as with any other BMW model, completes the previous trim with an extra touch of style, including elements such as the following:

• Gloss black mirror caps
• Gloss black front grille
• Gloss black rear diffuser
• M Sport brakes with red-painted calipers
• M Sport seats with additional side support
• M seat belts

As I was saying, the new BMW iX3 50 xDrive is already available in Spain, with a price starting from €69,900, while the market launch will take place next March at all BMW dealerships.
