The next hypercar from McLaren reveals its face ahead of schedule
McLaren is about to unveil a new hypercar with the internal name BC-03, but someone has already leaked it ahead of schedule.

Every single one of the current segments follows a path that seems to have no end, including that of hypercars. This exclusive and limited sector is beginning to grow at a frantic pace, as brands such as Bugatti or McLaren demonstrate. The English firm entered this complex segment with the F1, whose successor was the P1 and which now carries on with pride in the Senna and the Speedtail. However, the Woking-based company has kept going to continue showing off its power and its ability to create high-performance vehicles.
Behind the internal name BC-03 lies a creation set to take the original concept of the hypercar much further. Everything points to McLaren having based this latest offspring on the Vision Gran Turismo prototype, a concept model that already promised aerodynamics and an aesthetic more fitting for a competition car than one designed to be driven on public roads.
Thanks to a leak on Instagram, we have been able to see what this new model from the English manufacturer will look like. As with other vehicles in the range, carefully sculpted and pronounced aerodynamics not only deliver a striking design but also hint at performance befitting the house that builds it.

It is at the front where the most similarities with the Senna can be found, thanks to a long bonnet and an aggressive splitter which, in turn, suggest that we are looking at no ordinary vehicle. The side flexes its muscles with pronounced wheel arches and a bodywork that overlaps to channel airflow more effectively. The rear is dominated by a showy wing, three vertical tail lights and a diffuser of considerable size.
The mechanical side remains a mystery, as expected, but everything points to the English firm continuing to rely on the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 to power the BC-03. However, this time there could also be a second electric motor, capable of pushing total output comfortably past 1,000 CV.

This is how McLaren aims to fuel the hypercar war, a conflict that is in full swing thanks to the constant creations from the most exclusive brands. We will soon know more about the BC-03, a model that could be closer to being revealed than we think.
