The Polestar 3 has already been presented in Madrid

Sustainable mobility is becoming increasingly relevant on the streets of Madrid. Following the successful opening of its first Space in January, Polestar, the renowned Swedish electric vehicle brand, takes another step towards expanding its presence in Spain with the opening of its second Polestar Space in the capital, a perfect place where those interested in discovering all the models of this brand firsthand can do so whenever they wish. This new space, which resembles an avant-garde art gallery, is located on the elegant Calle Velázquez, in the Salamanca district, known as the Madrid Golden Mile. The official opening date was September 6, and with this opening, Polestar will have three spaces in Spain: two in Madrid and one in Barcelona.

The Polestar 3 arrives, presented in the best possible setting

The opening of the new Polestar Space coincides with an important milestone for the brand in Spain: the presentation of the Polestar 3, its first SUV. This vehicle, with an aerodynamic design, features a power output of 380 kW/517 CV, blending Scandinavian minimalism with SUV performance and redefining the concept of the sporty utility vehicle in the electric era. The Polestar 3 is now available for reservations, and for those interested in booking a test drive in Spain via Polestar.com, with first deliveries expected to begin in the second quarter of 2024.

This SUV impresses with its length of 4.90 metres and a custom design that makes it aerodynamic and elongated. The interior space is generous thanks to its large wheelbase of 2.99 metres. Its LED headlights, shaped like an inverted boomerang, and wheels of up to 22 inches stand out on its robust bodywork. Inside, minimalism is reflected in a 14.5-inch central screen, a 9-inch digital instrument cluster, three-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof. Customers can choose between a powerful 489 CV or 517 CV electric motor, a single-speed automatic transmission, an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 to 5.0 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h. In terms of efficiency, it has an energy consumption of 20.1 to 23.1, with a 111 kWh battery (107 usable) and a maximum charging power of 250 kW DC or 11 kW AC.

New Polestar 2 version

But that’s not all: Polestar has taken advantage of this unique setting to give visitors the chance to experience the new version of the Polestar 2, a model that has received an update raising its range to 654 km on the WLTP cycle. This 100% electric fastback can now travel 22% further, consumes 9% less energy and charges 34% faster, thanks to hardware upgrades including higher-capacity batteries and new motors. The second Polestar Space in Madrid, located at number 37 Calle Velázquez, will be open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., giving lovers of sustainable mobility the opportunity to discover Polestar’s innovation in a setting as exclusive as Madrid’s Golden Mile.
