The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is revealed in photos and looks this radical
Ahead of its first public appearance this weekend at the Goodwood Festival, the first official images of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS have been released

The images, leaked on several enthusiast websites dedicated to the Stuttgart brand (Rennlist, GT Spirit and many more) show the raw, aggressive look of the new customer racing 911 that will be officially presented in the third quarter of 2017, coinciding with the launch of the video game Forza Motorsport 7.
The images offer a spectacular view of the 911 GT2 RS, highlighting both the striking new aerodynamic components and the wide air intakes opened in the front of the vehicle. In addition, a series of protective plastic elements finished in matte black are distributed across the bodywork, giving it an even more sporty and radical appearance.

As with the exterior, the interior images are also among the most spectacular. Alongside the striking tubular anti-roll protection bars in the cabin, located just behind the sports bucket seats, there are trims in red and black Alcantara leather.
On the large headrests of the seats, the tuner has engraved the inscription “Weissach RS” over a outline of the test track of Porsche — where the brand usually develops its highest-performance models — an inscription that also appears on the plaque inserted in the dashboard, thus indicating the origin of this new 911 GT2 RS.

For the time being, Porsche has not yet revealed the power output of the 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine in the 911 GT2 RS, but early leaks suggest an output of around 700 CV and 722 Nm of peak torque, with performance figures reaching a top speed of 341 km/h and accelerating from 0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds.
A true beast of the asphalt!
