The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the brake champion: from 330 km/h to 0 in 6.5 seconds
Sport Auto has carried out 0-300-0 km/h tests. And the car that took the least time to brake from 330 km/h was the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, in 6.5 seconds.

For most cars, the big question is how long it takes to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. However, for the rest of the supercars, exotics or simply sports cars, the question is no longer how long it takes to reach “100”, but how long it takes to reach 200 or 300 km/h. But besides getting to such speeds safely, you also need to brake; and manufacturers are also concerned with seeing how long it takes to come back to a standstill.
And recently the guys at Sport Auto have put it to the test. In their top speed tests (in which we learned that the Lamborghini Reventon goes faster than its official figures suggest), they had the opportunity to test not only acceleration and top speed, but also braking distance and the time it takes to come to a complete stop.
And the Porsche 911 GT3 RS turned out to be the most effective in this respect, because it stopped from 330 km/h in 6.5 seconds. Other tuned beasts fell somewhat behind the Porsche product. Its 9ff sibling, the Porsche GTurbo R, did it in 7.3 seconds, and curiously another tuner Porsche, the Speedart BTR-II 600 Cabriolet, was also among the fastest at braking (a contradiction in terms) with the same time as the previous one. The rest, above 8 seconds, except for the Nissan GT-R from Importracing, at 7.5 seconds.
It should be pointed out that, strangely, Sport Auto mentions that the tests were carried out from 300 km/h, when the Porsche in the video is going at around 330 and effectively stops in just over 6 seconds.
