Macan Porsche Electric Cars SUV
The Porsche Macan rear-wheel drive and the Macan 4S are now available to order in Spain
The Porsche Macan expands its range with an entry-level version called Macan and another that stops short of being the top of the range, called Macan 4S

Times are tough for Porsche’s electric cars, which is good news for electric cars in general, at least as far as the Taycan is concerned, for which there is not enough production, which has led to negotiations to reduce production shifts while avoiding having to lay off staff as the 2025 model arrives, on which the brand has pinned its hopes for new and sufficient orders.
Meanwhile, other electric Porsche models continue on their way, such as the Macan, a model that was very successful with combustion engines, and we will see whether it can at least follow in that wake now that it is fully electric. To this end, the brand wants to make it more attractive and also more accessible, so its range now expands with the entry-level Macan and the more powerful Macan 4S, a version that sits between the Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo.
The entry-level Porsche Macan

For the Porsche Macan, the rear motor used in the Macan 4 has been adopted, also positioned on the rear axle, so that the 360 hp (265 kW) of power and the 563 Nm of maximum torque this motor provides are sent exclusively to the rear axle. Thanks to this configuration, the Porsche Macan accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h.
The major difference from the Macan 4 is that it does not use all-wheel drive, so the weight of the assembly is reduced by a significant 110 kilograms, a slimming that is certainly welcome for the lithium-ion battery with a gross capacity of 100 kWh, with which it achieves a combined range of 641 kilometres according to the WLTP test cycle.
The powerful Porsche Macan 4S

Those who want more power can now choose the Macan 4S, a version that sits between the Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo, from which it inherits the motor on the front axle, while the rear receives a new motor that delivers a combined power of 448 hp (330 kW) and that can reach 516 hp (380 kW) for a brief period thanks to the overboost function.
With Launch Control activated and a maximum torque of 820 Nm available, the new Macan 4S accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 240 km/h. It is worth noting that it comes as standard with adaptive air suspension with level control and height adjustment, Active Suspension Management (PASM) which, together with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and rear-axle steering, achieves greater chassis optimisation for comfort and performance.
Updates included and Offroad package

Taking advantage of the arrival of these two versions, Porsche has also announced an expanded colour palette with the new Neo Slate Grey, and a new 20-inch wheel design has been added. Although certainly the most important news is the arrival of the Offroad design package, which modifies the geometry of the front bumper with an approach angle that has increased to 17.4 degrees, the maximum achievable with the air suspension at its highest level, and which also increases ground clearance by 10 mm.

It is worth noting that the Offroad design package is offered in the same colour as the rest of the bodywork and in Vesubio Grey, with 21-inch off-road wheels in the latter colour. If the package is chosen with the body colour, the roof bars can be ordered in black, silver or Turbonite (Macan Turbo only).
Finally, Porsche now accepts orders in Spain for these two new versions, with prices starting at 82,310 euros for the Macan and from 92,509 euros for the Macan 4S.
