The refreshed Opel Grandland now has prices for the Spanish market

Unveiled last spring, Opel, now under the Stellantis group umbrella, has given its top-of-the-range SUV, the Grandland, a major facelift. As the brand’s flagship SUV, it now grows in size, gains a stronger road presence and adopts the latest technologies available from the brand.

Recall that the new Opel Grandland now adopts the STLA Medium platform from the Stellantis group, which allows it not only to accommodate different powertrains but also to grow in every dimension. The design embraces the brand’s new styling language, highlighted by the front end with the new 3D Vizor, featuring an illuminated logo and Intelli-Pixel HD lighting.

The new dimensions also affect the interior, offering more space than the outgoing Grandland. The cabin also receives a new design, featuring two-tier dashboard volumes and a centre console with hardly any buttons, now replaced by a new infotainment screen accompanied by the brand’s latest technologies.

In fact, it is worth highlighting that the new Opel Grandland will be available in Spain from launch in two trim levels, with the entry-level version considered the Edition, which includes the following standard equipment:

The second trim level is called the GS, and in addition to everything mentioned above, it adds the following equipment:

Three powertrains will be available for the new Opel Grandland, starting with the 1,200 cc petrol engine producing 136 CV, combined with a 28 CV electric motor to form a mild hybrid with an ECO label. The second option is the 195 CV plug-in hybrid with 350 Nm of torque. Finally, there is the fully electric version with an electric motor delivering 157 kW (213 CV) and 345 Nm of torque, available with a 73 kWh battery offering 523 kilometres of range on the WLTP cycle, or with an 82 kWh battery, which allows it to reach up to 582 kilometres on the WLTP cycle.

Prices for the Grandland mild hybrid start at 32,400 euros, while the plug-in hybrid Grandland starts at 39,350 euros. If you opt for the fully electric Grandland, the starting price is 39,850 euros equipped with the 73 kWh battery; if you prefer the 82 kWh battery, you will need to move up to the GS trim, where the price starts from 44,490 euros.
