The renewed Dacia Sandero is positioned as a leader with 50,000 sales in one year
Dacia has managed to win over a large share of Spanish consumers thanks to its renewed design, its range of engines and one of the best dealer-to-customer experiences

The brand Dacia, although it is known for its focus on simplicity and the design transformation it has undergone, is not focused solely on aesthetics; this facelift has led it to offer models that stand out for their robustness and accessible prices. Since its launch last year, the new image of Dacia has attracted more than 50,000 customers, marking a milestone in the history of the brand and consolidating it as a strong competitor in the Spanish car market.
The transformation of Dacia goes far beyond a simple aesthetic renewal. The brand has committed to offering vehicles that not only inspire adventure and robustness, but also focus on sustainability and show responsible consumption. This is reflected in the gradual elimination of materials such as chrome and leather of animal origin in its models, another reason why the brand may have won over Spanish consumers.

Dacia conquers the Spanish market
The results of this transformation are evident. Dacia has reached its highest market share in the private buyers segment to date, an impressive 9%. This places Dacia in fourth position in the private buyers market in Spain, with more than 24,000 units sold; its model, the Dacia Sandero, led the private vehicle market in 2023 and has maintained this position for more than a decade.
One of the keys to Dacia’s success lies in its ECO-G offering, with half a million units sold worldwide and close to 50,000 LPG vehicles in Spain since 2017. With a market share of 86% in 2023, Dacia leads the LPG car market, once again demonstrating its commitment to sustainability.

A unified and natural image
The new brand image has been implemented simultaneously across the entire Dacia vehicle range, offering vehicles that embody adventure, freedom and simplicity, inspired by nature in terms of colours and materials, combined with good robustness and durability.
Dacia is also changing the rules of the game by focusing on more responsible and restrained consumption. This translates into the elimination of chrome decorative elements and animal-origin leather. Dacia stands out as the brand that best understands the needs of its customers, offering the best value-for-money ratio in the automotive market.

In 2023, Dacia continues to innovate with its latest additions: the Extreme Range, the Spring Electric 65 and the Jogger Hybrid 140. These models continue to rely on the same ingredients that have brought Dacia success: simplicity, authenticity and robustness, always at competitive prices. The leadership of Dacia rests on a unique strategy with a solid business model.
The origin of the success
To understand the current success of Dacia, it is important to recall its past milestones. From the launch of the Logan in 2004, which democratised the purchase of new vehicles, to the Dacia Jogger from 2022, which reinvents the concept of the family vehicle with up to 7 seats, Dacia has continued to innovate and adapt to changing consumer needs.
The transformation of the Dacia brand is also reflected in its dealership network. The first of these, Dacia Retail Group on Avenida de Burgos, Madrid, has unveiled a new identity both outside and inside its showroom. Modernity and simplicity are the key values in this transformation, which is expected to extend to the entire dealership network by the end of 2023.

Eco-responsible commitment
The new image of Dacia dealerships focuses on sustainability, based on functionality, flexibility, eco-responsibility and cost control. The furniture is mobile and adaptable, and recycled and durable materials have been selected to guarantee sustainability. Even the brick panels, assembled with the Dacia emblem, are made from recycled tyres, in line with the brand’s eco-responsible commitment.
The transformation of Dacia goes beyond aesthetics; it is an evolution towards sustainability, simplicity and adaptability, values that resonate strongly among Spanish consumers and that ensure a bright future for the brand in the automotive market.
