The Rimac C_Two supercar goes on an excursion to California and dresses in blue

The Concourse d’Elegance Pebble Beach is about to begin, and the time has come for all manufacturers to place their bets to win the award for the most spectacular car at the event. And it’s no simple task, since in addition to the cars prepared by classic motoring enthusiasts, the major brands are preparing their entries to surprise attendees. Even with cars already known, such as the Rimac C_Two.

This model has benefited from a special edition to arrive at Pebble Beach and to surprise not only with its remarkable performance, but also with the extra features this version is equipped with. To begin with, we had seen a single unit of the Rimac C_Two in grey, so the first thing they did was paint the bodywork a very eye-catching blue.

The colour works well with the space where the car will be displayed, and where it is expected to receive a good number of orders. But since this is an event in which luxury plays a very important role, some extra touches have been added. For example, there is a spot to place two bottles of champagne with their corresponding flute glasses to enjoy them.

The car will be present in Monterey during Monterey Car Week, which includes the Pebble Beach event, but on 25 August it will head to another event where supercars take the lead. This is Exotics, on Cannery Row, where it will be judged aesthetically against similar cars.

Otherwise, the Rimac C_Two retains the same electric powertrain, made up of four electric motors that together deliver 1,888 CV and 2,300 Nm. The configurable all-wheel-drive system is one of the model’s many features, and it has an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.85 seconds. The top speed of this car is 412 km/h.

The 120 kWh battery provides a range of 650 km on a single charge, so this is a car that offers not only speed but also enough range for a fairly long journey. Rimac plans to build 150 units, with a selling price of 2.1 million dollars. Fortunately, this time they will not be limited to the eight Rimac Concept One units, which fell well short.
