The Škoda Elroq RS is revealed as the most powerful version of the Czech electric compact SUV
Škoda expanded its 100% electric model lineup with the Elroq, which now adds the sporty Elroq RS version, with a configuration similar to the Enyaq RS

Last autumn, Škoda unveiled the Elroq, its second fully electric model, arriving in SUV format with production starting at the beginning of this year so it could reach the brand’s various European dealerships. The range is being completed little by little, and now it is the turn of its sportiest version, the Elroq RS, presented during an event the brand held at the Aurel Polygon test centre in the Czech Republic, just half an hour from Škoda’s factory.
As expected from a model with the RS badge in its name, the Elroq takes on a more sporty look. This can be seen on the exterior with the new design-specific bumpers, which introduce new trim pieces that give a greater sense of width, naturally in black. Black is also present on other elements such as the window surrounds, roof rails, the letters on the bonnet, the tailgate and the mirror housings.

The standard equipment also includes tinted rear windows, which add a bit more privacy and coolness to the interior while contributing an extra touch to the exterior styling, not to mention the exclusive alloy wheels of the Elroq RS with Aero trim covers in 21-inch size. Škoda will allow the Elroq RS to be ordered in any colour from its palette, to which is added the Mamba Green shade we first saw on the Enyaq RS when it was presented last May.

As for the interior, the Škoda Elroq RS will be available in the RS Lounge design, already known from other models such as the Enyaq RS, in which black is the main protagonist. This colour features in the Suedia microfibre upholstery with contrasting lime-green stitching and faux-carbon inserts, while the steering wheel is trimmed in perforated leather. In terms of equipment, the Elroq RS also includes the following as standard:
- Heated front sports seats with integrated headrests
- Driver’s seat with electric adjustment, massage function, memory and lumbar support
- Stainless steel pedals
- LED Matrix headlights
- LED rear lights with dynamic indicators
- Digital instrument cluster with 5-inch screen
- Infotainment system with 13-inch touchscreen
- Four USB-C ports
- Phone Box with wireless charging and ventilation
- Electric tailgate with virtual pedal
- Towbar preparation
- DCC adaptive chassis
- Travel Assist
- Adaptive lane assist
- Predictive adaptive cruise control
- Traffic jam assist
- Emergency assist
- Emergency assist
- KESSY Advanced keyless entry system
- MyŠkoda app

Škoda will also allow the standard equipment to be increased with packs such as the so-called Maxx, which includes the driver’s seat electric and comfort functions extended to the front passenger seat, or the three-zone Climatronic; there is also the optional Advanced pack, which includes features such as the augmented-reality Head-Up Display or the rear window sunshades.
In terms of mechanics, the Škoda Elroq RS receives the same configuration as the Enyaq RS, that is, one electric motor on the front axle and another on the rear to deliver 250 kW (340 CV) of power and four-wheel drive. This configuration allows the Elroq RS to accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and reach a top speed limited to 180 km/h. It is equipped with an 84 kWh battery of total usable capacity, with which it certifies 540 kilometres of range under the WLTP cycle. It can charge at up to 185 kW at DC fast-charging stations from 10% to 80% in about 26 minutes, and with 11 kW AC charging from 0% to 100% in eight hours.
