Kodiaq Skoda Range / versions SUV
The Škoda Kodiaq in its Scout and Sportline versions is already on sale in Spain
The Škoda Kodiaq continues to expand its family, now with the Scout and Sportline versions, one aimed at the more adventurous and the other towards sportiness

The Škoda Kodiaq continues to expand its range of versions, and while a few days ago we welcomed the Laurin & Klement version in memory of Škoda’s founding fathers, now we have to welcome two new versions: on the one hand the Scout, aimed at more adventurous customers and featuring plenty of tech touches and, on the other, the Sportline version, geared towards those seeking greater sportiness and dynamism.
Both versions will have elements in common, although perhaps the biggest differences are found in the exterior styling, which is characteristic of both. Both feature specific front and rear bumpers, as well as the diffuser, with a more rugged design on the Scout and a more sporty design on the Sportline. Another difference is found in the roof bars, the mirror housings and the trim, which are chrome on the Scout and gloss black on the Sportline. The alloy wheels are 19 inches for both, the Crater design on the Scout and the Triglav design on the Sportline. Exterior elements common to both are the Full-LED headlights and the cornering fog lights.

Moving inside, we also find several common elements, but I want to start with the parts where each differs. In the Sportline we have sporty seats at the front, a leather steering wheel and Alcantara trim for the doors and sides. In the Scout, the interior is characterised by its generous capacity and comfort, with 7 seats included as standard. As common elements for both, we have Alcantara upholstery on the seats, which are also heated, along with steel pedals, LED ambient lighting, a power tailgate and decorative trim.
Both versions use the Ambition trim as their base, so as standard you will already find extensive technological equipment. Notable items include hill start and descent control for the 4×4 versions, front and rear parking sensors, driving modes, light and rain sensor, the Coming Home function, reversing camera, multifunction steering wheel and Care Connect. For both, the chosen infotainment system is the so-called Bolero, consisting of a 20.3 cm touchscreen, voice control and SmartLink function. In addition, the Scout version also features the Amundsen navigation. Both also come with two-zone climate control and, as is only natural at Škoda, the Simply Clever solutions.

Mechanically, both the Scout and Sportline versions share two TSI petrol engines: a 1.4-litre with 150 CV and a 2.0 with 180 CV. On the diesel side, they share only the 2.0 TDI with 150 CV, all offered with the DSG automatic gearbox of six or seven speeds, although the 1.4 TSI and the 2.0 TDI can be had with a manual gearbox in the Scout. It should also be said that, in the latter, you will have the option of choosing the 2.0 TDI with 190 CV, with the seven-speed DSG and permanent all-wheel drive.
Both the Škoda Kodiaq Scout and the Sportline version are already on sale in Spain and, as expected, you can already place your order at the brand’s various dealerships. We already know the set prices, and so that it’s not a hassle for you, I will separate them, starting with those of the Sportline version:
