The Toyota GT86 comes dressed in British Racing Green for this limited edition, available exclusively in Japan.
The Toyota GT86 takes on the name British Green Limited for a limited edition in British Racing Green, available only in Japan.

Not long ago we learned that both the Toyota GT86, the star of our article, and the Subaru BRZ would receive a second generation, a development that delighted every enthusiast of the Toyobaru. However, Toyota has wanted to keep playing with one of its purest sports cars to unleash its imagination and offer even more charismatic editions. With this premise, the Japanese brand has devised the Toyota GT86 British Green Limited, a name given to a limited edition of the sports car that adopts that charismatic shade of green which has suited vehicles of British origin so well, and which also works with models from other nationalities.
At first glance, we find a Toyota GT86 that receives aesthetic changes aimed at accentuating its elegance without compromising its sportiness. The British Racing Green colour fulfils this task perfectly. It has been applied to the bodywork of numerous English sports cars and, thanks to its acclaimed fame, many other vehicles have also turned to this shade.
In this way, the Japanese sports car leaves behind the iconic blue, red and grey colours to make way for this green, capable of captivating any onlooker. To season the whole, Toyota has fitted 17-inch wheels finished in gold, a colour that combines perfectly with British Racing Green. These wheels also reveal imposing red brake calipers signed by Brembo so that we do not forget the true raison d’être of the GT86.

The cabin has also been modified, focusing on the seats of the Toyota sports car. These retain their iconic ergonomics but are re-upholstered in brown leather that blends perfectly with the black of their centres and with the Alcantara details on the side bolsters. In this way the Japanese brand also ensures that the interior of the GT86 continues to exude the elegance this special edition is able to provide.
Mechanically there are no changes, since the engineers of the Japanese brand have kept intact the appealing layout with which the GT86 was conceived. That is to say, we still find that naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with 2.0 litres capable of producing 200 CV of power and 205 Nm of torque, figures that can be managed through either a manual or an automatic gearbox.

From 31 May onwards, customers of Toyota will be able to purchase this GT86 British Green Limited, the date on which its production will end. It will have a starting price of 3.318 million yen, a figure equivalent to roughly 26,000 euros, a price more or less close to that of the GT86 on the Spanish market.
