Toyota C-HR Plug-in

The Toyota C-HR Plug-in, in its second generation, combines an attractive design with the efficiency of Toyota’s plug-in hybrid technology. This crossover in the C-SUV segment offers an electric range of up to 100 km in the city and 66 km on the WLTP combined cycle, thanks to its 13.6 kWh battery. Its powertrain combines an electric motor producing 163 CV (120 kW) with a 2.0-litre combustion engine producing 152 CV (112 kW), for a total output of 220 CV (162 kW).

One of its key innovations is the Dual ADN function, which automatically switches to hybrid mode once the battery is depleted, delivering consumption almost identical to conventional hybrid models. The Toyota C-HR Plug-in starts from €35,000 in Advance trim, with the option of financing from €200/month through Toyota Easy Plus, which includes 4 years of warranty and maintenance. For those seeking extra technology, the Advance Plus + Skyview® trim is available from €37,500, while the sporty GR SPORT model is priced at €38,500. In market terms, the C-HR Plug-in closed November 2024 with 1,752 units registered.

The Toyota RAV4 Plug-in, for its part, takes electrification in the D-SUV segment to a new level with a plug-in hybrid system delivering 225 kW (306 CV) and all-wheel drive. This SUV offers an electric range of up to 98 km in the city and 75 km on the WLTP combined cycle. Despite its power and capacity, it maintains outstanding consumption figures compared with conventional hybrid models once the battery is depleted.

The RAV4 Plug-in has also reduced its price, starting from €45,000 in Advance trim, with financing available from €300/month. The higher trims Advance Plus, Style Plus and GR SPORT Plus are priced between €48,000 and €51,750, offering exclusive equipment and premium finishes. With 1,319 units registered in 2024 and growth of 47.05% over the previous year, the RAV4 Plug-in arrives with this unique and attractive offer to strengthen its position in a highly competitive segment.

Experience makes the difference

Toyota, with more than 25 years of experience in hybrid technology, ensures that even once the battery is depleted, its plug-in hybrid models maintain exceptional consumption, with only an increase of +0.1 l/100 km for the C-HR Plug-in and +0.8 l/100 km for the RAV4 Plug-in compared with their conventional hybrid counterparts. Both models include the Toyota Easy Plus programme, which provides 4 years of warranty and maintenance, reinforcing peace of mind and confidence for drivers.

These discounts and technological advances form part of Toyota’s multi-technology strategy towards carbon neutrality, a global commitment that seeks to make sustainable mobility more accessible for everyone. With the C-HR Plug-in and RAV4 Plug-in, Toyota reaffirms its leadership in the sector, offering vehicles that stand out not only for their design and technology, but also for their contribution to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
