Toyota presents four camper models at the Barcelona Caravaning Show

Camper vehicles are increasingly present in our market. Brands adapt many of their commercial vehicles to offer a service that goes beyond simple transport. The Barcelona Caravaning Show takes place from 16 to 24 October, and the various brands that offer this type of vehicle can showcase several models designed for enjoying leisure time. Toyota has four models that it has chosen to present at this event.

These models have been converted by Tinkervan, a company specialised in this type of conversion. For that reason, the models have all the features of Toyota commercial vehicles, but with capabilities for enjoying the outdoors.

Toyota Proace Verso Camper

This is the most travel-ready version of the largest people carrier from the Japanese brand. The Nomad Plus Home variant will be shown, which is the top-of-the-range model and offers the most complete equipment. It has all the equipment found across the rest of the range and also includes a pop-up roof, a swivelling seat base, a larger-capacity fridge of up to 40 litres, and a removable kitchen-sink module that can be used both inside and outside.

It is available in four trim levels, which add more features as the version improves. These four trims are OutFun, Nomad, Nomad Plus and Nomad Plus Home. In addition, there are two body lengths, L1 and L2, and two diesel engines. These engines are a 1.5D 120 CV unit and a 2.0D 145 CV unit.

Toyota Proace Mini Camper

This variant is based on the Proace City Family. It is available in two lengths, medium (L1) and long (L2), and comes in a single trim, the OutFun. This model is designed both for everyday use and for those moments when you want to head out and enjoy the countryside. The equipment included in this version features a removable two-seat interior bed, an indoor and outdoor table, a 10-litre shower, an electric fridge and other integrated elements to travel and rest without any problems.

One option available is to add a tent on the roof to increase sleeping capacity, providing two extra sleeping places.

Toyota Proace Verso Electric and Toyota Hilux Invincible

Alongside these two vehicles, we find the Toyota Proace Verso Electric, which comes with the self-installable kit for conversion into a camper, and the Toyota Hilux Invincible, which has been fitted with the living cell. All four models are available in Spain and can be found from 27,547 euros, which is the price of the Toyota Proace City Mini Camper OutFun, rising to 39,699 euros, which is the price of the Toyota Camper OutFun.
