Toyota Yaris Electric Hybrid Ecovan: the commercial version of the small Japanese model is here
The commercial version of the new Toyota Yaris is the perfect ally for urban transport and the only electric hybrid in the passenger van segment

The small Toyota Yaris has been the latest addition to the Toyota Professional range, the line dedicated to commercial transport from the Japanese brand, which, like all of the brand’s models, rests on the fundamental pillar of Toyota: electrification.
This new Toyota Yaris Hybrid ECOVan is the second generation of the model’s commercial variant, this time based on the 2021 European Car of the Year, and reworked through the Toyota Custom programme to become the best ally for urban goods transport.
Hybrid, compact and versatile
With the launch of this model, it becomes the first electric hybrid passenger van, which, together with its 720 litres and 0.9 m3 of total capacity for carrying up to 430 kg, offers very low consumption and emissions, and also qualifies for the DGT’s ECO label.

As for its design, the small ECOVan looks like any conventional Yaris except inside, where, starting with Toyota Custom, the rear seats have been removed and a partition has been fitted between the front seats and the cargo area, with a wooden floor covered by a rubber sheet to prevent damage.
The rear windows are kept so they can be tinted or laminated with the desired customisation or corporate image.

As already mentioned, the cargo area has a capacity of 720 litres and a maximum length of 1,242.8 mm from the partition to the rear end of the boot. Its width is 866.8 mm and its height 694.8 mm. Another strong point is the height of the loading sill, at 670.2 mm, a figure more than sufficient for comfortably loading almost any type of package, box or item.
Toyota currently offers two trim levels for this Yaris Hybrid ECOVan: the Business Plus and the Active Tech, both of which come with notable standard equipment such as Toyota Safety Sense, driver assistance systems, an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, air conditioning, rain sensor and alloy wheels.

If you opt for the Active Tech version, it adds LED rear lights, a leather steering wheel, keyless entry and start, and a rear-view camera, among other features.
The price for this Toyota Yaris Hybrid ECOVan is 21,275 euros, to which we must add 49 for the conversion to a commercial vehicle.
