ToyotaCare: the maintenance programme that covers all the costs of your car

With the aim of attracting new customers, Toyota has decided to now offer new payment methods for its vehicles and has also included a discount of up to 25% for customers who sign up for the brand’s comprehensive maintenance programme: ToyotaCare.

Among the services included in the ToyotaCare programme are the first four services of the car (one per year) or maintenance of up to 60,000 kilometres for vehicles with service intervals every 15,000 and 80,000 kilometres, and those with services every 20,000 kilometres. Added to all this is the preferential workshop service, so that the customer will have priority when choosing the day and time for services.

ToyotaCare rates include VAT, and the service covers the spare parts and labour for the vehicle. In addition, all hybrid versions include the Comprehensive Hybrid System Check.

ToyotaCare also offers other services such as comprehensive management of bodywork claims, whereby the programme assists the customer in completing and managing accident reports with the various insurance companies.

The ToyotaCare programme is aimed at self-employed workers, SMEs and large companies, as well as all types of private customers. It will be available for new and used vehicles. An important new feature of Toyota’s comprehensive maintenance programme is that it is no longer only available at the time the customer purchases a new model of the brand, but can also be accessed later, during the first year of the vehicle’s life, before its first official service.

In addition to accessing ToyotaCare by linking it to Pay per Drive, the financing formula that lets you pay for the vehicle in small monthly instalments, the Japanese firm now offers other payment options: ToyotaCare Cash, Online and Credit.

• ToyotaCare Cash offers different payment methods: in cash, by credit/debit card, or by financing the cost through Toyota Financial Services (TFS).
• ToyotaCare Online is a tool through which maintenance services will be offered to customers who did not sign up at the time of purchase, so that they will receive a personalised offer by e-mail to access a platform where they can purchase the service.
• On the other hand, the payment method of ToyotaCare Credit allows the service to be paid in instalments and offers two financing options: 12 months at 0% interest, or 24 months for less than €3 per month.

Although the price of ToyotaCare varies depending on the vehicle and its engine, the saving amounts to between 110 and 180 euros. For example, an Auris with a 140H hybrid engine would cost 594.67 euros in cash, but if financed over 24 instalments, we would pay 71.89 euros more in interest and management fees.
