It is important to highlight that the Volkswagen Caddy CNG, being powered by Compressed Natural Gas, reduces NOx emissions by up to 80%, while CO2 emissions are reduced by 15%. This environmentally friendly system is complemented by a state-of-the-art TSI petrol engine.
These systems offer a combined range of up to 880 kilometres (700 kilometres on CNG and 180 on petrol), which translates into savings of up to 50% on petrol and 30% on diesel. It is also worth noting that filling a tank of Compressed Natural Gas costs around 35 euros, so when compared with filling the tank of a conventional combustion car, the immediate saving is clear.

In addition, the user can drive efficiently, since Compressed Natural Gas, having a high energy value, burns more efficiently than other fuels. This guarantees savings of 50% on the vehicle’s running costs according to Volkswagen.
Go ECO for the best move
The Volkswagen Caddy CNG has the ECO environmental label. This allows the model to drive freely through the centre of large cities, on any day, without any type of restriction. Thanks to the ECO sticker, the Volkswagen Caddy CNG can enter Madrid both during high-pollution episodes and in Madrid Central.

The German brand assures that when “emissions are reduced, efficiency increases”.
Volkswagen Caddy CNG, where can it be refuelled?
The network of petrol stations offering Compressed Natural Gas is growing daily, and in Spain there are already more than 50 stations spread across the national territory. In addition, a search tool for CNG petrol stations has been created, which will give the user all the information about the one closest to their home.

Seven ECO versions of the Volkswagen Caddy CNG
The Volkswagen Caddy CNG with ECO environmental label, allowing it to drive freely through the centre of large cities without worrying about high-pollution episodes and restrictions, is available in up to seven different versions. It is important to note that, according to the German brand, “they have identical performance and the same driving quality as the petrol and diesel engine models in the range”.

Currently, the range of the Volkswagen Caddy CNG consists of the Volkswagen Caddy Van, the Volkswagen Caddy Kombi and the Volkswagen Caddy Trendline, all also available in the Maxi bodywork variant. Joining them is the Caddy CNG Edition, perfect for work and for leisure days. Users can acquire this environmentally friendly model from 190 euros per month through the My Renting programme of Volkswagen.
