T-Roc Volkswagen Convertibles SUV
We now have the Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio in Spain and these are its prices
The new Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio arrives in Spain and begins its sales in our country with a price that will undoubtedly be very attractive

Despite the large number of SUVs on the roads and the boom of this segment, few brands have dared to create a convertible version of one of their SUVs. In fact, only two have done so with greater or lesser success: Land Rover with the Evoque and Nissan with the Murano. But to this short history of convertible SUVs we must add a new one, one that seems likely to win over more fans than the previous two: the Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio.
The introduction of the T-Roc into the Volkswagen lineup has been a success for the German brand, which has already sold 360,000 units in just two and a half years on the market. During this time it has gradually added versions. Until recently, its sportiest variant, the T-Roc R, was the latest addition to the range, but it now expands its offering with the new T-Roc Cabrio, which is finally arriving in Spain after its sales launch in other European countries.

In Spain the Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio will be sold in the Style and R-Line trim levels. Both present, broadly speaking, a coupé-style silhouette that sets them apart from the rest of the range thanks to the new design of the doors. They also feature, of course, the fabric convertible roof, which can be opened and closed as long as the speed does not exceed 30 km/h. The interior of the T-Roc Cabrio retains the design and personalisation options of the rest of the range and, perhaps just as importantly, enough space for its four occupants to travel comfortably despite it being a convertible.
In the “Style” trim, the T-Roc Cabrio focuses on offering a more elegant design and great practicality thanks to its equipment, which includes items such as:
- Lane Assist lane-keeping assistant
- Adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go function (if the DSG gearbox is fitted)
- Pre-Crash function
- Dual-zone air conditioning
- Discover Media navigation system
- Electrically folding exterior mirrors
- 17-inch “Mayfield” alloy wheels

For its part, in the “R-Line” trim, as you might imagine from the name, the T-Roc Cabrio brings out its sportier side, with standard equipment including items such as:
- 18-inch “Grange Hill” alloy wheels in black finish
- R-Line sports package, both exterior and interior
- Gloss black exterior elements
- LED front headlights
- Digital Cockpit
- Driving mode selector
- Rear-view camera
- Park Assist
- Keyless Access for keyless entry and start

Mechanically, as we anticipated, the Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio will only be available with two petrol engines. The 1.0 TSI 115 CV is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and is only available on the “Style” trim, while the R-Line trim can also be fitted with the 1.5 TSI 150 CV engine, which can be paired with the same manual gearbox or the 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
We already knew its German prices, and in truth Spain will be very much in line with our European neighbours, with a very attractive starting price of 27,750 euros, including discounts and campaigns, for the entry-level version.
