We still don't know when the new BMW M3 will arrive, but we do know it sounds glorious
BMW continues working on the development of the new M3 and M4 models which, as this video shows, will feature a masterful sound.

The next generation of the BMW M3 and M4 has been on everyone’s lips for a long time, since these are two of the most acclaimed variants from the German brand. Following the presentation of the Concept 4 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, many of us thought the arrival of both the new 4 Series and the M3 and M4 was just around the corner, but it wasn’t so. To this day, we still don’t know the exact arrival date of these models, and even more so with the health crisis that is hitting us, but we bring you some good news.
Someone in the United States has been spotting these days – let’s remember that quarantine is not in force in every state there – one of the thousands of test mules of the future M3 that roam our roads. However, until now we had only witnessed its muscular silhouette, but today we have been able to enjoy a very important aspect: its sound.
Every sports car must be accompanied by a good soundtrack, and the new M3 and M4 will be no exception, as this video confirms. And while the previous generation set the bar very high, it seems that BMW has done its homework and managed to keep the formula intact, and I would even dare to say they have improved it.

For now there are very few details about this new batch of M models on the way, but we can anticipate certain details. Although it has not yet been confirmed whether both the M3 and M4 will finally carry this so-controversial grille, we do know they will feature wider wheel arches, a quad central exhaust outlet and a more voluminous bonnet.
Under it will lie a more advanced turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, a combination that could allow the M3 and M4 to reach an output close to 500 CV. At the same time, as we can see, this powerplant has not lost its distinctive character, which will continue to be complemented by catchy crackles.

Either way, BMW continues working hard on the development of new vehicles, which will make their respective appearances once the situation eases. With this in mind, we could be talking about the new M3 and M4 arriving alongside the conventional 4 Series at the end of this year, .
