You can now reserve the new BMW Serie 2 Gran Coupé for 1,200 euros

BMW continues with the renewal and expansion of its model range, a process currently led by the newly unveiled Serie 2 Gran Coupé. This variant is presented not only as a completely new member of the German brand, but also as a preview of what the next Serie 2 has in store. However, for those with no interest in the coupé version, there is good news: since BMW has already opened the reservation period to be one of the first to receive the new Serie 2 Gran Coupé.

You will have until March 31, 2020 to complete this pre-reservation, so there will be plenty of time to weigh up the idea. However, the German house is determined to convince its customers to get a Serie 2 Gran Coupé, which is why it offers a series of very tempting incentives.

Anyone who decides to reserve the BMW four-door coupé will have to face an initial payment of 1,200 euros, but there’s no need to panic. If we change our minds or ultimately don’t want to go ahead with the purchase, the company assures that it will refund the amount without any surcharge or consequence, so we can rest easy when trying to secure one of the first units of the Serie 2 Gran Coupé.

This is because the pre-reservation does not imply the purchase of the vehicle or the placing of an order, but is understood as a deposit to be among the first to configure the car and order it from the factory. In addition, BMW offers a trim level that will only be available for those units that have been previously reserved through this process.

It is called Black Shadow and, in addition to including numerous black details that enhance the sportiness of the German saloon, it can also be paired with the M Sport or M Performance equipment level. For the first trim, it will only be available on the 218i or 220d variants, which will be complemented by sport seats, M sport steering, M sport suspension, an aerodynamic kit and a specific steering wheel, among other features. We can access the second trim if we opt for the M235i, the most powerful variant.

For now, this is the fastest way to access a more exclusive and special Serie 2 Gran Coupé. We still know nothing about the future Serie 2 Coupé, but everything points to BMW taking advantage of many of the details found in this variant to finish shaping it and continue delighting the world with a two-door, rear-wheel-drive sports car.
