"Zasca" from a Civil Guard officer to those criticising the handling of the collapse on the AP-6
The Civil Guard officer published an open letter defending the work of the authorities and the emergency services during the snowstorm.
The storm and the snowfalls that took place last weekend caused major chaos on some Spanish roads, especially on the AP-6, where thousands of people were evacuated. The authorities and emergency services worked day and night to assist the people who were trapped in the storm, but the collapse was so severe that the worst-affected people watched the hours pass without receiving any help, which led to a downpour of complaints aimed at the authorities through social media. This barrage of criticism did not sit well with a Civil Guard officer who has published an open letter to respond to the drivers’ complaints.

This is the full letter in which the Civil Guard officer defends the work carried out by both the authorities and the emergency services.

The truth is that this Civil Guard officer has left nothing in the inkwell. Do you think he is right? Are the complaints of the people who were trapped in the storm justified, or should they have been more far-sighted?
