BMW M3 CS Touring, the M that the German brand should have built long ago
Eventuri has created the BMW M3 we have all dreamed of. It is an BMW M3 CS Touring and it has stolen our hearts. Are you one of us too?
We have often talked about the aspirations of enthusiasts of the Bavarian brand and, above all, the staunch followers of its sporting division; BMW M, and the truth is they long for the launch of a BMW M3 Touring and more, ever since the concept of the BMW M3 E46 Touring was unveiled more than ten years ago.
Now, it seems this open secret has become public, and during this year’s SEMA a version of the BMW M3 CS Touring was shown that has filled the brand’s followers with hope.
In today’s world of intense market research and endless terabytes of consumer data, car manufacturers are very good at building vehicles that customers want to buy. Yet somehow BMW still has not built an BMW M3 Touring, and that is a shame. Fortunately, an enthusiast of BMW decided to build the M version of our dreams, and the results are astonishing.

BMW M3 CS Touring, a dream come true
The BMW M3 F80 was a controversial BMW M3 from its debut in 2014 until its production ended in 2019. Many fans noticed muted steering, a sharp power delivery and a high price that was hard to swallow. Setting aside its flaws, however, the BMW M3 F80 was the most powerful BMW M3 ever built. Perhaps if BMW had given us a touring version, the F80 would have been better received? We certainly believe so.
When it comes to fast cars, everything is suddenly better as a touring. I bet test drivers would have loved to drive a touring that used the straight-six engine of the BMW M3, with the M3’s torque, and awarded BMW prizes for building the best BMW M3 in history. Unfortunately, that is a reality that only exists in our subconscious and on Eventuri’s stand at SEMA 2019.

The touring body style of the latest-generation 3 Series was known as the F81. Sander, the creator of this impressive BMW M3 Touring, had a simple idea that many of us would never have acted on: he bought a crashed BMW M3 and made good things happen to a BMW 3 Series Touring F81.
Sander did not just buy any crashed BMW M3 F80. He found a totaled BMW M3 CS F80 and got to work. The M3 CS featured 453 horsepower more and had a starting price close to 100,000 euros. The base M3 had to make do with just 425 horsepower, so this significant power increase is welcome.

A family-oriented BMW 3 Series of the F81 generation with the exterior and interior of an M3 is impressive. The aggressive front end and widened wheel arches look at home on this model, which we wish BMW would build in large numbers. Unfortunately, this touring is a one-off limited edition and serves as a reminder that we need more sporty estates.
