Abarth 500e: the brand's first electric car with 154 CV, starting from €33,000
The scorpion brand is moving into electrification with its first fully electric vehicle from the sporty range, built on the platform of a Fiat 500

The electric era has arrived at the scorpion brand: Abarth presents the acclaimed and fun Abarth 500e, a model that has been updated while keeping its legacy of high performance, combining it with sustainability and an exciting driving experience. This fully electric version starts at 33,000 euros and comes with a fairly generous standard equipment list.
Since 1949, Abarth has built small, fun cars but never an electric one, and we have to admit they have done a pretty good job. The Abarth 500e has a 42 kWh battery that produces 113 kW (154 CV), and this sporty compact can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7 seconds. The electric architecture has been optimised to provide greater acceleration, balance and stability, traits that show in its superior agility both in town and on the open road.

The Turismo trim of the Abarth 500e includes 17-inch diamond-cut titanium grey alloy wheels, a fixed glass roof and tinted rear windows. The interior stands out for its racing-style pedals and the Rivale steering wheel, inspired by the world of competition, with leather trim and mahogany details. The sports seats are decorated with a scorpion print in Alcántara, and also offer heating and multi-position adjustment to ensure maximum comfort.
A notable feature is the “Sound Generator“, which emulates the iconic sound of Abarth’s combustion engines when you take the wheel, providing a nostalgic audio experience for fans of the brand. In addition, the fast charging system allows you to gain 50 km of additional range with just 5 minutes of charging, and 80% of the battery can be recharged in 35 minutes, minimising downtime.

Driving modes
To adapt to different environments and driving styles, the Abarth 500e offers three distinct driving modes: Turismo, Scorpion Street and Scorpion Track. Turismo mode provides smoother, more efficient acceleration, ideal for everyday driving. Scorpion Street maximises performance and regenerative braking, offering a sporty experience in urban settings. Finally, Scorpion Track mode is designed for those who want to get the most out of the car’s capabilities in more demanding conditions.

Comparison with the Abarth 695
The Abarth 500e stands out not only for its green credentials, but also outperforms its petrol counterpart, the Abarth 695, in several key areas. In urban acceleration, the 500e is a second faster, achieving 50% more speed from 20 to 40 km/h. In tight bends, it reaches the target speed between 40 and 60 km/h in just 1.5 seconds, making it significantly quicker than the petrol version.
