Always with us! Ken Block's last dance: Electrikhana 2
Ken Block had already shown off his driving with the Audi S1 in Las Vegas. Here he leaves us another work of art so we can enjoy the master of drifting, in his honor.

The automotive community was plunged into mourning in January with the unexpected passing of the drift legend, Ken Block. Now, his fans have the chance to relive the magic of the drifting master in his last memorable act: Electrikhana 2, a video filmed in Mexico City, just weeks before the fateful accident that claimed his life.
The first episode of Electrikhana, which featured Ken Block drifting through Las Vegas, had already amassed more than 100 million views worldwide. Electrikhana 2 promises to surpass those figures, serving as a tribute to the life and legacy of Ken Block, the drifting master who left an indelible mark on the world of motorsport. The video is now available on the Hoonigan YouTube channel.

Electrikhana 2, filmed in November 2022, is a visual testament to Ken Block’s passion and skill behind the wheel. Its scenes, full of emotion, capture the iconic driver in action, masterfully handling the electric prototype Audi S1 Hoonitron, a vehicle developed exclusively by Audi Sport for the video series.
The Audi S1 Hoonitron is a technological marvel, with two electric motors, all-wheel drive, a total power output of 500 kW, and a carbon fibre chassis that meets the strictest FIA safety standards. A vehicle that has become a masterpiece of engineering, it is the perfect tool for Ken Block to display his skill and creativity to the fullest, as he has clearly demonstrated.

The filming of Electrikhana 2 was a close collaboration between Ken Block and the engineers at Audi Sport. Following the success of the first episode, which reached more than 100 million views worldwide, the S1 Hoonitron continued to evolve, with modifications that included weight reduction, improved handling and gear-change simulations to optimise performance.
Mexico City served as the perfect backdrop for Ken Block’s automotive stunts. The metropolis offered a variety of fascinating locations, from the modern airport to a spiral car park. The city is currently home to 22 million inhabitants
.
However, the true star of Electrikhana 2 is the special trick devised by Ken Block where, in a striking opening scene, the motors of the front and rear axles drive the wheels in opposite directions, enveloping the prototype in a cloud of smoke that defies gravity.
