Anderson Germany takes on the Ferrari 458 Italia

When some people still haven’t digested such a surprising build as the one we presented just yesterday, created by Anderson Germany and based on a Aston Martin DBS, today I have to surprise you with nothing less than another masterpiece, this time built on a Ferrari 458 Italia

Honestly, just looking at the header photo, I wouldn’t know exactly what kind of vehicle I’d be losing the sense of, since if the Aston Martin DBS was a simply bestial, aggressive and above all “fat” vehicle, this Ferrari 458 Italia is no less thanks to modifications spread not only across its bodywork, but also its engine and cabin.

It is precisely on the bodywork that the engineers at Anderson Germany had to work hardest, since modifying the sublime lines of a vehicle as attractive yet functional as the Ferrari 458 Italia must be an arduous task. Even so, improvements have been made in the form of ventilation grilles in the bonnet, a front spoiler, a rear diffuser and carbon fibre wing mirrors.

On the other hand, certain details deserve mention, such as the front and rear headlights as well as the supercar’s windows, which have been tinted black to give an even more imposing touch. The exterior look is completed with huge 21-inch alloy wheels fitted with 245 and 345 mm tyres on the front and rear axles respectively.

As you can see, this build has a common factor: carbon fibre, which has inevitably been used to decorate the entire interior of the vehicle and appears in details such as the ventilation grilles, centre console and doors, sills, steering wheel, instrument panel, gearshift paddles… even the seat adjustment lever has been made from carbon.

On the other hand, there are certain elements that could not be made from carbon fibre, and as you’d expect these have been upholstered in the finest leather and Alcantara, which undoubtedly gives a supernatural touch to an interior refinished in carbon fibre.

Mechanically, I’m sure none of us would complain about the 570 horsepower and 540 Nm of peak torque offered by the enormous 4.5-litre V8 fitted to the exuberant 458 Italia. Even so, the guys at Anderson Germany have gone further again, and thanks to a new engine control unit and a competition exhaust system this enormous V8 has raised its output to 623 horsepower and 636 Nm.
