Attention! The Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne will have a limited production run of just five units
The Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne will be limited to five units, will be produced in Barcelona and will carry a price of 1.65 million euros.

Hispano Suiza is getting ready to begin production of the Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne in Barcelona. The manufacturing process for this work of art takes approximately twelve months. It is worth highlighting that the first unit is scheduled for delivery in 2022. Production of this majestic model is limited to five units. The Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne is the lighter and more exclusive version of the electric supercar.

These exclusive units will join the fourteen units of the Hispano Suiza Carmen. The Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne aims to pay tribute to the Hispano Suiza H6 Coupé racing car of the 1920s. This legendary model was put to the test in the French city of Boulogne. It is worth highlighting that this model secured three consecutive victories in the 1921, 1922 and 1923 races.

Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne, what do we know about it?
The Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne features four permanent-magnet synchronous electric motors, two on each rear wheel. These motors are capable of generating a combined output of 1,114 CV, 95 CV more than the Hispano Suiza Carmen, and a maximum torque of 1,600 Nm. In addition, it has a weight of 1,630 kilograms, 60 kg less than its series-production sibling. All of this makes it possible for it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds in Sport driving mode, joined by Comfort and Eco modes. The top speed has been electronically limited to 290 km/h.

This electric supercar incorporates an 80 kWh T-shaped lithium-ion polymer battery that supports DC fast charging of more than 80 kW. It takes 30 minutes to bring the battery to 80% of its capacity through a CCS2 fast charger, and once fully charged, it delivers a driving range of up to 400 kilometres. The battery is designed and manufactured in-house, along with the temperature control system that ensures the cells operate optimally. It also includes new silicon carbide MOSFET transistors, which offer less resistance to current flow than traditional ones. This helps improve the model’s energy efficiency.

The Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne has a starting price close to 1.65 million euros in Europe. This figure excludes taxes. It is a two-seat supercar with two doors that open upwards. It measures 4.73 metres in length, has a wheelbase of 2.80 metres, stands 1.20 metres tall and is two metres wide. In pursuit of greater lightness, carbon fibre has been used for both the chassis and the steering wheel. In addition, the monocoque chassis, the subframes, the impact-absorbing structures and the body panels are all carbon fibre. The chassis has a torsional rigidity of 50,000 Nm/degree. This results in a stiffness-to-mass ratio of 256 Nm/degree per kilogram which, according to Hispano Suiza, is superior to that of the Lamborghini Aventador. The eleven panels that make up the bodywork weigh 64.5 kilograms in total.
