Audi A8 L Horch: The redesigned saloon brings out its most luxurious side with this very special version
Taking advantage of the launch of the new A8, the four-ring brand has announced this luxury-packed version aimed at the Chinese market

The Ingolstadt-based brand has just unveiled the facelift of its flagship, the new Audi A8, which receives an update packed with new design details both outside and inside and which, in addition, gains a new version in its range that shows the model at its best, called Audi A8 L Horch, our protagonist today.
As an extended wheelbase version, the new A8 L Horch will only be available in the Chinese market, a market characterised by strong demand for long-wheelbase versions and to which Audi pays great attention, as we have already seen with the launch of the Audi A7 L last April.
The new A8 L Horch boasts a length of 5.45 metres, specifically 13 cm more than the conventional A8 L, resulting in an enormous interior space and, in this way, an experience that takes comfort to another level with a cabin pampered down to the last detail.

Numerous specific details
But now let us talk about its exterior, which has been fitted with numerous exclusive details that give it a very special look, differentiated from the conventional model, such as the three new two-tone colour combinations for its bodywork: Mythos Black and Florette Silver, Florette Silver and Mythos Black, or Firmament Blue and Ultra Blue.
Starting with the front, we find the new Singleframe grille, now wider and chrome-finished, more vertical side air intakes and a more aggressive look thanks to its new Matrix LED light units, which are sharper and give character and presence to this new version.

Viewed from the side, the new 20-inch wheels in pure Maybach style, the chrome mirror housings and the Horch badge just before the C-pillar enhance the elegant, luxurious image of this saloon of nearly five and a half metres.
Moving round 90 degrees, we find digital OLED rear lights and the Horch lettering inserted into the boot lid, two elements that headline the rear novelties of this new version.

Luxury in its fullest expression
With the exterior novelties covered, it is time to talk about the interior, without a doubt our favourite part of the new A8 L Horch, where Audi has deployed all its weapons to show what it is capable of.
If the new A8 L Horch stands out for anything, it is its great interior space, the comfort of its diamond-pattern leather-upholstered seats and the luxury that its atmosphere exudes thanks to elements such as its exclusive floor mats, numerous systems such as four-zone automatic air conditioning, the new rear screens, or the air quality package with ionizer and an optional fragrance function, which will make us feel like royalty.

To power this marvel of luxury, the four-ring brand has fitted a V6 3.0-litre TFSI petrol engine that develops 340 CV of power and no less than 500 Nm of maximum torque. In addition, this powerplant is accompanied by a 48-volt mild hybrid system that helps reduce emissions and consumption.
